Hotel Belvedere is one of the few pet-friendly hotels that offers full comfort for both owners and their pets. Our staff understands the needs of those traveling with pets and will make sure that your vacation in the Tatra Mountains is unforgettable.
Rówień Krupowa is a great place to walk your dog, located just a 12-minute walk from Hotel Belvedere. This large, open space in the center of Zakopane allows for a pleasant walk with your dog on a leash. The Równia offers beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains, making it a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
Chocholowska Valley is the longest and largest valley in the Polish Tatra Mountains. It is also the only place in the national park where you can walk with your dog. The route to the PTTK Shelter on the Chocholowska Glade is a 7.5 km trail, which can be covered in about 2 hours. Along the way, it is worth stopping by the Chocholowski Wywierzku or the Grey Glade, where a seasonal shepherd's hut operates. In spring, the valley delights with blooming crocuses, and the Chapel of John the Baptist is known to fans of movies about Janosik.
The Alpine Path (Droga pod Reglami) is a great option for dog owners - an 8.5-kilometer trail that can be traversed in its entirety or you can choose a comfortable section. The route runs through forests with spectacular views of Zakopane and Gubalowka, and, interestingly enough, traces the former Iron Road, which was once used to transport raw materials between the Tatra steel mills. The biggest advantage of this route for dog walking is that the length can be adjusted to suit your needs. The trail leads from Kuźnice, all the way to the Chochołowska Valley, offering beautiful views and shady forest paths throughout.
